CCM Auctions conducted their weekly Primestock sale at Skipton Mart on Monday together with the Monthly Prize Show of Prime Cattle & Sheep. Cattle championship honours this Month went to Mr Bernard Simpson of Heathfield, Pateley Bridge whose 1st Prize Heifer sold for £1,575 to Keelham Farmshop. In the Prime Sheep ring the championship ticket went to Paul Baines, whose pen of 5 Beltex crosses sold at £103 each to Hartshead Meat Company, Mossley.

Baines’s keep it in the family at Skipton prime lamb show A Pendle father and daughter delivered a family double when exhibiting both the champion and reserve champion pens of five Texel-cross prime lambs at Skipton Auction Mart’s February show.
