Trade was very much as expected, some nice pens of lambs late season finding a ready trade at £70 plus, a few show pens over £100. Stronger runners in the late 50’s and 60’s, others late 40’s to early 50’s.
Mashams and Dales Mules both had their main sales, with trade mixed, Dales Mules recording the strongest average on the day at £64. Swaledale Gimmer Lambs were the trade of the day with a busy ringside keen for nice lambs with good skins, and the trade levelling at £50.41, a fall of only £1.99 on the year.
