A small show of milking cattle forward for the February sale but a flying trade with a strong ringside of buyers bidding fiercely for the 10 milkers on offer with Robert Crisp of Calton taking the top honours and top price with his home bred heifer giving 25 litres selling for £2000 to the judges Shaun and Peter Sowray from Bishop Thornton. The second highest price followed straight after the Champion, a week calved 2nd Calver selling for £1900 to the Clarke Family from Hampsthwaite.
