Forward: 5,043 head of Gimmer Shearlings
CCM Auctions conducted their Great Annual Prize Sale of Gimmer Shearlings at Skipton on Tuesday. An increased entry of sheep at this year’s sale met with a ringside of buyers that were far more cautious and who were looking to secure replacement sheep for prices that reflect this years reduced prime sheep trade. As a result the overall sale average was £27 down on the year to stand at £122.95, Mules averaged £123.76.
Thank you to all our sponsors for supporting the sale, British Wool Marketing Board, JACS Trade & DIY, JG Animal Health & Top Tags and to our judges for today’s sale.
