LLEYN SHEEP - THURSDAY 1ST OCTOBER 2020

Lleyn Sheep have received strong interest this year at the society sales, and todays sale at Skipton was no exception, with females in high demand, and rams receiving a solid trade.


 

5 pens of yearling females achieved £200 or more, with H&M Dugdale and E&D Jones achieving it twice, whilst Simon Kavanagh of West Berwick Farm made £200. Yearlings averaged £182.46.

Ewe Lambs followed suit, Wynne Davies, Bronhalt topped the section at £150, and an average of £104.91.
Although there were no four figure prices for rams this year, there was a good clearance rate, sellingto 750gns for E&D Jones, and an average of £407.
