An increase in numbers today, but trade just about held from last week. Smart end very similar, and well fleshed lambs also along the same lines as well. However anything lacking finish was a bit harder to sell as processors look to buy just the well covered lambs. Cast Ewes were a sharp trade with heavy ewes in strong demand, best Mules £80+ up to £94.50 for a nice pen from Janet Ewin-Newhouse. Continental  Ewes topping £100 on several occasions.

Good strong show of calves and a solid trade to match. Black and whites were the strongest trade of the day with extra interest making a difference and forging the overall average to almost £72. Continentals were again a good trade with a wide selection of buyers taking all grades to a good price. Natives were the only section slightly down though a lesser show of calves did have a slight affect.
