Cull Cow Prices
A noticeable reduction in interest in cast cattle representing a drop in export demand and concentration on Christmas trade by factories. Lean and plain cows got away well by comparison with the odd heavy dairy in the mid 90s.

In total 15 pens over 300p today, and 50 pens 250p to 298p, whilst 6 pens were from £140 to £180, 6 pens in the £130’s and 14 pens in the £120s.
Commercial lowland lambs were keenly sought, handy weights 215p to 230p, mediums 205p to 220p, heavies either side of £2.
