Quality Black and Whites in very short supply in a section topped by RL Wright&Sons with a Holstein Friesian bull at £172. Continental cross bulls and steers headed up by R&CM Mitchell’s suckler bred 28 day old steer which made £475. With month old calves making up the majority of the entry a pen of British Blue cross calves was headed up by M Fewster for a bull calf at £380. Sire identified Native breeds continue to be sought with £298 the pick for an Aberdeen Angus cross bull from JM Smith&Son.
