CCM Auctions held their Annual Sale of Swaledale Draft Ewes and Gimmer Shearlings at Skipton Mart on Saturday. Trade was better than expected on the year, with prices not as far back as was feared prior to sale, but still offering buyers sheep at better value for money than recent years.

The pre-sale show was judged by Mr Jeff Throup & Mr Martin Throup of Silsden Moor and kindly sponsored by Windle Beech Winthrop Surveyors and JACS Trade & DIY Warehouse. The prize awards were as follows:
