FORTNIGHTLY SALE OF YOUNG FEEDING BULLS, STORE BULLOCKS & HEIFERS, BREEDING CATTLE
FORWARD: 368 HEAD OF CATTLE
Comprising: 102 Young Feeding Bulls, 208 Bullocks & Heifers, 58 Breeding Cattle
A nice mid-summer entry of store and breeding cattle were forward for sale at Skipton today. The usual company of buyers made all classes a straight trade, not as many of the big strong short keep cattle on offer today, with a lot of 12 to 18 month grazing cattle making up the entry. Quite a few runs of Charolais bred cattle were keenly bid for, as were native bred bullocks and heifers. Not many of the premium cattle about today, but what were available were as usual good to sell.
Breeding cattle continue to come forward in good numbers and offer anybody looking for replacement cows a good selection to choose from.
