Craven Dairy Auction (23 head)
A small show of dairy cattle today with 23 forward, however the majority of types were well supported with some good averages coming from all sections. Judge James Kayley kindly judged the show with Robert Crisp of Calton once again coming off the Victor with Jennings farmers of Fountains collecting the Reserve Champion Rosette. Despite not winning any prizes David and Jill Pennock’s heifer was the top priced beast at £2300 which was eventually knocked down to John Howard, Heslaker.
A good trade all round with scope for more. Next Sale 27th January.
