Also selling at 2,400gns was the female champion from the Artnagullion Flock brother & sister William & Elizabeth McAllister from Ballymena, Northern Ireland. Sired by a Belgium import out of a Beachy Norman homebred ewe, it found a new home with Andrew Wood of Whittingham, Preston.

Stuart Wood continued his successful day with another shearling ram at 2,200gns this time to R Munro of Sutherland.

Mike Davis also achieved 2,200gns with a Holmebeck Tonto sired gimmer shearling out of Drumchapel Scooby ewe selling to Samantha Asquith of Otley.

Completing the prices at 2,000gns were a brace of sheep the first time at this figure was a Rathbone Whippet sired shearling ram from Karen Shuttleworth Heber Park Flock out of Woodies Ring a ding ewe he went to James Little of Ireby.

The other at 2,000gns was a shearling gimmer from Brian Halls Ainstable Flcok. A daughter of 9,500gns Hudhey Tenacious, bought at Skipton in 2014 out of Dooley Piere homebred ewe, she sold to Gareth Daniels of Little Barningham, Norfolk.
