The Supreme Champion at the 7^th Annual Show & Sale of Pedigree Beef Shorthorn Cattle on behalf of the Pedigree Shorthorn Cattle Society was the 20month old Shawhill Lovely Jade a roan maiden heifer exhibited by Thomson Roddick Laurie (Shawhill) of Eaglesfield. The 1^st prize junior heifer which also stood 3^rd in class at The Great Yorkshire Show, is sired by a 8,500gns Burnside Elite and sold to P Scott Taylor of Renfrewshire for 5,900gns.
