Sale leader at 3400gns was Stonebridge Albie from Texel Society chairman Steve Richardson of Great Houghton. Sired by the Knap What A Nut son Proctors Ya Belter, he found a new home with DH Ryder of Otley. Mr Richardson followed up with Stonebridge Angus, by Pant Wolf out of a Knap Viscous Sid daughter, and later sold for 1900gn to Messrs Cochran of Darwen.

James Robinson had another good foray into the Skipton sale ring when his first prize ram Lamb Kaker Mill Bailey sold at 2200gns. A product of the 20,000gn Knap You’re the Man out of a Sportsmans Tremendous daughter she was snapped up by Willie and Mark Keighley for their Manderlea flock at Leathley.

Richard Wilsons Crimple Head flock was again prominent on the Skipton scene, and it was his 3^rd ram Crimple Head Apache that led his prices at 2100gns. Sired by Hull House Winner, the Langside Thunderbird son out of a Hull House Rothchild ewe, that was purchased in Skipton for 1900gns 2 years ago, he found a new home at Denton Park Estate, Ilkley. The same purchasers secured a second ram from Crimple Head at 1900gns, this time for Crimple Head Adonis, which is by Parkholme Van Dyke out of a Langside Thunderbird Ewe.

The Meinspride flock from Angela Nairey had a pen leader at 2000gns selling to J Robinson of Grantley.
