A tremendous offering of sheep for this years sale with quality at a high level and prices for the top end shearlings and ram lambs reflecting this. Ram lambs topped at 2,500gns for Procters Calypso which was the pre-sale champion from Procters Farms, Tatham Hall. Sired by Sportsmans Batman it sold for 2,500gns to Mr R Templeton and Mr R Leggat. Proctors Farm also topped the shearling ram trade at 2,200gns for the Thrunton Younique so Tatham Hall Batman, which found its way to a new home at The Moor Top flock with David Towell. Tatham Hall Bombadier, another Younique son was next in line nat 2,000gns and sold locally to J Barnes, Sawley. The first ram of the day also achieved 2,000gns, Crimple Head Belter by Roxburgh YMCA sold to T&J Moran, Nappa for use on their newly established pedigree flock.
