134 Calves was forward with Blue Heifers the best trade they have been for a while topping at £360 (av 242). While Blue Bulls topped at £450 for the Overall Champion from JP&KE Hartley which later sold to the Judge and 41 Blue Bull Calves sold to average £323.54. The reserve was then awarded to J&SA Lancaster’s Blue Bull which went on to make £410 which also found its new home with the Judge. Tremendous runs of Calves from regular vendors were seen today with a 100% clearance rate. Native Bulls and Heifers sold to a wide audience today with regular purchasers taking the majority and new purchasers chipping away to make the trade. Black and White Calves sold to an average of £60.76 which was a very respectable trade.
