Fortnightly Sale of Young Feeding Bulls, Store Bullocks & Heifers, Breeding Cattle
Forward: 519 head of cattle
Comprising: 208 Young Feeding Bulls, 32 Beef Feeding Cows, 275 Bullocks & Heifers, & 4 Breeding Cattle.
A new full complement of bull buyers at the ringside and with bulls not as strong trade improved to another level. Bulls under 12 months average £1016 with the top end 2016 born bulls £1100.
In the store section older cattle continue to force some strong averages with best bullocks and heifers £1200- £1300 throughout the day. Beef X Dairy bullocks and heifers were also very good to sell today with some strong prices bid throughout the day with E&MA Burrow reaching £1090 with his 18mth bullock however heifers look as good with David and Charles Sayer reaching £1000 twice for some 16mth old BBx Heifers.
More faces around on smaller heifers and bullocks today with younger last spring cattle seeing some healthy bidding from start to finish.
