Fortnightly Catalogue Sale of Store Lambs Forward: 7,714 Head, Overall av £81.82 A large entry of sheep for an October Sale and once again trade was fast and furious with all classes matching the demand seen at the previous sale and the average still over £81 for a show including an increased proportion of wintering and hill bred types.

A tidy trade ensued with stronger nice runners, either bonny or darker types making £100 plus, medium types on the day £85 to £100 and smaller lambs in the £70’s.
