A great entry of cattle at Skipton today for the fortnightly sale with nearly 700 store and feeding cattle sold through the store ring and 152 Pedigree and Suckler Breeding Cattle sold in the top ring. Strong bulls were a sharp trade with all clients operating well, some plainer smaller bulls were a shade harder to cash. In the store cattle section there wasn’t  just as much strength about, but short keep cattle again maintaining trade as did the better end of the yearling and younger sorts, but like the bulls some plainer types were a touch less.

More Beef Breeding Cattle in for sale as the main spring season approaches and a good selection found a reasonably ready ringside of buyers looking for good replacements.
