Forward: 382 head of cattle
Comprising: 43 Young Feeding Bulls, 324 Bullocks & Heifers, 14 Breeding Cattle & 1 Grazing Cow
Another busy Summer sale and a roaring trade all round from start to finish, with the last pen in the sale ring being 3 Charollais Heifers from Arthur Ward of Grantley scooping the £15 Prize for the highest priced pen of 3 or more when selling for £1100 each.
Generally trade was very much along the lines of the previous sale, there were plenty of cattle with age and power and more cattle at 4 figure prices than has been seen for several months. As usual a very good selection of native bred and dairy bred bullocks (85 Head) were among the entry and prices saw Angus sired Bullocks top at £1230 and Dairy Bred at £1000 for a pair of Mont Beliarde from Andrew Fawcett.
