STORE CATTLE - WEDNESDAY 2ND MARCH 2016

Fortnightly Sale of Young Feeding Bulls, Store Bullocks & Heifers, Breeding Cattle Forward: 461 head of cattle Comprising: 141 Young Feeding Bulls, 304 Bullocks & Heifers, 9 Feeding Cows & 7 Breeding Cattle.

CCM Auctions held their fortnightly sale of store cattle at Skipton on Wednesday where an entry of 461 head were forward. With snow falling due the morning rush hour making travelling hard work, it was pleasing that so many customers managed to get to the mart and make for a decent sale. Trade for most strong sorts was similar, with the best bullocks and heifers probably slightly dearer, although some commercial younger cattle were harder to cash than of late.

NEXT SALE – WEDNESDAY 16th MARCH 2016.

625 HEAD comprising 200 Young Bulls, 400 Bullocks and Heifers, 25 Breeding/Feeding Cattle

Entries to Mart Office by Wednesday 9th March. 4pm
