Comprising: 220 Young Feeding Bulls, 7 Beef Feeding Cows, 708 Bullocks & Heifers, & 25 Breeding Cattle.
CCM Auctions conducted their opening Cattle sale of the new year at Skipton Mart where a good entry of 960 head were forward for sale. Cattle were generally not just as strong as previous years, but the quality was good, trade was brisk and overall 960 cattle sold in 6 hours 15 minutes
Feeding bulls saw a superb entry of mainly 2016 born cattle to a ring fill of buyers from around the uk.
The Stores attracted a good ringside of buyers looking to stock up sheds after pre Christmas fatstock sales. Quality was good to sell, whilst commercial types and dairy bred sorts were slightly dearer than prior to Christmas. A good entry promised again for next fortnight, watch out for the catalogue next weekend.
