Comprising: 77 Young Feeding Bulls, 393 Bullocks & Heifers, 4 Grazing Cows & 45 Breeding Cattle.
At CCM Auctions fortnightly sale of cattle at Skipton on Wednesday there was a large entry for a mid-summer sale with 474 head sold in the store ring and 45 head in the breeding ring. Trade was good, smart sorts easily up keeping the rates seen at recent sales, although more commercial types whilst still a decent trade they didn’t just sell away as fast as seen recently. A mixed entry of breeding cattle sold away to a nice trade as producers look for replacement breeding stock to eat surplus grass.
