Today’s sale included the Addingham Sheepbreeders Annual Charity Show & Sale of Mule Wethers, with all proceeds going to Manorlands Hospice, Oxenhope. Taking the championship honours was a lamb from Messrs JC Walker & Son of Dunsop Bridge and it sold to Chris Pearson on behalf of PFS Carrs Billington for £300, the lamb was re-donated for sale and purchased in turn by Chris Heseltine, Andrew Wright and Claire Mason who all in turn re-donated it for sale. The final bid for the champion came from CCM Auctions and the lamb will now be farmed on until the New Year where it will then be sold at a Monday Primestock Auction with the proceeds again going to Manorlands. In total the sale of the champion lamb has so far raised £750. In total nearly £3,500 was raised for this charity by today’s event and a huge thanks to all those customers involved who both donated and purchased lambs or items on the day.
