MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 6th AUGUST 2014
Fortnightly Catalogue Sale of Store Lambs.
Forward: 4,775 Head – 4517 Store Lambs & 258 Breeding Sheep.
Overall av £57.53
At Skipton Auction Mart on Wednesday, CCM Auctions had another large entry for the fortnighty sale of store sheep which sold away nicely. A large ringside of customers assembled and trade soon got into a similar level to that seen last fortnight.
More buyers are now getting ready to take longer keep lambs, whilst seasonal customers will also looking be for Suffolk x Mule Gimmer Lambs in early September.
Next Sale is Wednesday 20th August – Entry of 6,000 – 8,000 head expected.

A nice Show of Breeding Sheep and Rams sold to a packed ringside of customers keen to source ewes for early tupping, and regardless of age, so long as the ewes the strong then there were plenty of takers.
