Another tremendous entry of store and feeding sheep for the time of year met with a fast selling trade when put in front of a good crowd of purchasers. Best Lambs topped at £100 form Hannah Brown and £99 from AM&HV Brown, strong lowland lambs on the day in the late 70’s and early 80’s, medium types in 70’s and longer keep types in the 60’s.
Best Mules in the mid to late 70’s, good Swale Wethers in the 50’s, a nice pen of Lonks £74.50 and longer keep types in the 30’s and 40’s.
Some nice runs of inlamb ewes created great interest, Correct Suffolks from Andy Russell topped £138 av £131, and a run of strong Correct Mules from Anthony Hewetson topped £116 av £111.
