Suffolk Rams
The early sale of Suffolk rams saw a sizeable crowd around the pens and inside the ring. A 70% clearance rate was received by the breeders today. The Champion in the Pre-Sale Show was a tremendous ram lamb presented by Geoff Richmond of Goosnargh selling for 520gns to James Foster of Bolton Abbey.
Reserve Champion, a cracking, well bodied tight skinned Shearling from John Key of Midhopestones sold for 620gns to Robert Metcalfe of Brearton. The next sale for the Suffolk Rams at Skipton is on the 5th October as part of the Mulit Breed Ram Sale.
