Fortnightly Sale of Young Feeding Bulls, Store Bullocks & Heifers, Breeding Cattle
Forward: 475 head of cattle
Comprising: 93 Young Feeding Bulls, 361 Bullocks & Heifers, 7 Feeding Cows
A healthy trade throughout the sale today with all goods on the receiving end of some fierce bidding. Bulls set the tone early on with the best bull from SD Gill selling to £1720 for his British Blue consignment with 4 more from different vendors over £1300. In the bullocks a similar story with plenty of the stronger sorts from £1100 to £1280 where it so happens Peter Fox topped the days pens of three at £1280 for his Limousin x Bullocks. Heifers again good to sell with the best prices coming for the sweet 12-14mth old good which were heading into the late £800’s to £1000 all day, heifers were topped again by Peter Fox with a super Blonde Aquataine at £1250.
