Today was the final Tuesday Sale of Breeding Sheep & Rams for this season, a small entry of breeding sheep were forward with Tony Bell selling his run of 2 crop Texel’s from £140-£185. Broken mouthed correct below horned ewes were £35-£65. Cheviot 3 and 4 crop ewes from F Jackson, Whitby sold to £102.
Tups sold to a wide audience of farmers wanting tups for late lambing and for chasing up with BFL, Texels and Char x selling very well. Good ended continental tups sold £400-£650 with smaller end £200-£350. BFL tups £200-£400 with best end £420-£500.
