CCM Auctions Conducted their Monthly Sale of Stirks, Weaned Calves and Young Store Cattle on Saturday 6th November 2021 at Skipton Mart.

Trade strong today with Natives and Black and Whites dearer on the last sale. Again, a strong entry of Black and White bullocks 30 sold to avg £519. 8-12mo old goods £450-£550 with 12 months + goods and strong sorts from A&SL Throup & Son, Silsden sold to £700 for a pair and £690 for 3. Less demand for blue bullocks but not the quality in as normal and only a few forward. Trade for these ranged from £460-£535. Shorthorn bullocks sold well with R Greenwood selling his to a top of £500. Blue heifers a nice trade. Top end £600-£650 medium dairy bred sorts £540-£585 and smalls £460-£520. Native heifers a lump up but a good level show forward. Nice end goods £580-£600 mediums at 7/8 month sold at £520-£560 and smalls at 5/6-month-old £420-£460
