Store lambs a flyer today with all classes of lambs meeting plenty of demand with more tail enders coming forward. Lambs with size in high demand and short of requirements. Plenty of continentals £98-£110 for size with smart end lambs with a bit of size £130-£170. Beltex lambs from Frankland farms sold to £170 on two occasions with plenty of pens from the same farming selling at £150+. Medium Texel cross lambs £88-£94 with some Tex-dale smalls in the £68-£74 range. Overall Texel lambs avg £92 and Beltex lambs avg £124.
Suffolks topped at £113 from SI horn, Kelbrook. Large end Suffolks £96+, Mediums £86-£94 and smalls £76-£84 with a few crossed tailed enders less money.
Mule Wethers a tremendous trade with size £90-£96 mediums £82-386 and smaller end in the £68-£76 range with tail enders meeting plenty of demand.
Cheviot Wethers forward in good numbers and nice wintering types £70 to £80.
Largest Swale & Dalesbred Wethers sold at £66-£70 with good framed mediums £55-£61 and smalls with potentials £40-£50 and tailer enders £30+.
