Kitchings the kings at Skipton prime cattle show Dales beef farming brothers Charles and Richard Kitching virtually swept the board at Skipton Auction Mart’s March prime cattle show, standing both champion and reserve with a brace of British Blue-x bullocks, as well as consigning the first and third prize heifers. Best bred Texel/ Beltex lambs £115-£125, medium Continentals lean but with frame to gain weight were £95-£105, and the smalls £72-£85.

CCM Auctions Conducted their Monthly Sale of Stirks, Weaned Calves and Young Store Cattle An entry of 122 forward, with the trade of store cattle on a Wednesday flying the Stirks definitely followed today. Black and White steers sold tremendous, 5-month-old from E Pennock & Son sold at £430 with DP Mitchell selling 6/7-month-old at £495.
