Continentals were a stronger trade again today with some quality runs of Limousin and Blues from Geoff and Margaret Booth of Lothersdale who topped the day’s trade with a Blue bull at £415 and £410 with John Wright of Airton not far behind at £400.
Natives again were good to sell again with Watson of Horton Pasture and Andrew Lumb of Oakworth topped with some Hereford cross calves at £250 and £290 respectively. Black and Whites were a touch easier today with 6 day rule being the main culprit for this keeping a couple of buyers away today but shall be back into gear Monday and looking for calves.
Rearers looking for good continentals and natives this coming Monday with demand out waying supply at the moment.
For Information on calves Call Sam Bradley 07538539077.
